Passengers who wait up to two hours for a Metro bus in off peak hours are the victims of the law of supply and demand not shortage of buses says a Mi Bus manager.
Mi Bus is the company hired by the government to operate the Metro Bus system.
Miguel Cardona was responding to complaints made some users.
"Normally, we have fewer buses for those hours when there are fewer people on the street," said Cardona, who clarified that the delays are not due to a lack of buses or drivers.
Cardona said that if the frequency of passengers rises in some areas, more buses will be added to those routes.
In the meantime would be passengers can settle for a long wait.
