Metro Bus prepaid cards on sale
Prepaid cards for Panama’s Metro Bus system went on sale Monday, Jan 30.
Daniel Guerra, manager of the new payment system for Metro Bus, said there are about 600 charging stations in grocery stores and 400 distributed in supermarkets, pharmacies and shopping centers in Panama City.
Prepaid cards cost from $2 to $50 while the minimum charge is 50 cents. The new system for residents and tourists kicks in on February 15. No card no ride
