A musical launch for an island retreat

Opera Panama performers seem to pop us everywhere  these days, with their indefatigable director Irena Sylya always in attendance, as  MC, stage manager, mentor, and  performer.

While preparing for the recent performance of  La Boheme , at the National Theatre in Casco Viejo, with days and nights  packed with rehearsals,   she managed to squeeze in an evening event at the Pangea restaurant,  a CanadaPLUS Club Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner at  the Union Club, and perhaps the most exotic locale, a poolside performance at the Trump Ocean Club.

Scores  of movers and shakers  turned up  recently  at the Trump Ocean Clubto mark the official launching of  Las Villas de la Marina the first residential condo in Isla Viveros, one  of the outstanding pearls of the Las Perlas archipeligo.

The high end, but low rise structures have been designed to create a weekend, or more, escape route for families, without having to battle highway traffic.  The  homes, available to about 100 families  are located on  one of the most beautiful beaches  in the region near the Marina Nursery
The Marine Villas have their own swimming pools, beach, waterfront gazebos and aplayground for children. Each property is offered fully furnished and decorated, including carefully chosen  must have items like  cuttlery  and bottle openers. 

 Viveros will soon have its own  marine shuttle service, from The Trump Ocean Club, once a week, will operate a private yacht trip to the island for those wishing to explore Viveros
The Island has  its own a runway that is already operational and the first moorings in the marina designed to receive 300 vessels  are open.
Viveros has attracted residents from around the world like Spain, France, Norway, USA and Ukraine. They will now be joined by Panamanians.
