Oral B mouthwash withdrawn in Panama

Panama’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has ordered the pulling of  Oral B mouthwash from store shelves  in Panama.

Batches made in Colombia showed a greater bacteria  concentration than that allowed and the (MoH) ordered the withdrawal of the product  the from the local market.

Eric Conte, director of Pharmacy and Drugs MoH, said the withdrawals are trademarks OralB Refreshing Mint, Peppermint Mint Natural and Complete.

According to reports issued in other countries, the bacteria found in mouth rinses is anthina Burkholderia.

The product is made by Procter and Gamble.
