Panama movie goers flock to Harry Potter last hurrah

Cinema’s in Panama were packed with Harry Potter fans on Saturday, and Sunday for the final Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

The film shattered box office records in the US and Canada, taking $168 million over its opening weekend, Warner Brothers reported on Sunday.

The series has earned more than $6 billion worldwide. The previous opening weekend record was held by Batman: The Dark Knight, with $158million. But if you haven’t been following the series, the Part 2 money maker won’t make a lot of sense, but after all it's all about magic.
