Peace crusading pastor killed in Panama

The pastor of an evangelical church  who played a prominent role In the Crusade for Peace, to combat violence in Panama, was killed on Tuesday, July 20.

Herminio Rivera a former gang member who turned his  life around , was pastor of the Army of Peace Evangelical Church, in Pedro Obarrio (El Chorrillo).

 A 15-year-old was  among those detained for their alleged involvement in the murder. That ook place near the Summit Municipal Park, in Ancon. Police also reported that a 9mm gun and the car used by the alleged criminals.
The pastor was reported to have been returning  from a jail visit at the time of the killing.


Relatives  went to the Santo Tomas hospital where he had been taken,.
