A woman in her sixties who returned from Wuhan, China on January 13 and lives in Chicago is infected with the coronavirus, US health officials said, on Friday, January 24.

This is the second confirmed case in the country and that there are 50 more cases under investigation.

She is hospitalized to prevent the spread, and is clinically stable," said Allison Arwady, head of public health in  Chicago, at a press conference.

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Nancy Messonnier, reported that in addition to the two confirmed cases, 11 people evaluated in the country had received a negative diagnosis and that another 50 patients were undergoing analysis.

In France, two cases have been confirmed. In Bordeaux and Paris. Both patients are  in hospital
