Tocumen opens to connecting flights

On Friday, August 7,  the same day that Copa Airlines restarted operations after 4 months of shutdown, Tocumen International Airport made the first connecting flight of 8 passengers from Argentina to Miami.

The Airport reported on its Twitter account that the operation was possible with the establishment of the Controlled Operations Center for the Interconnection of Commercial Flights.

Copa Airlines resumed commercial flights to 11 destinations in 8 countries in America. The flights scheduled until August 29, will be made in addition to Miami, in the United States, to Washington (USA), Quito (Ecuador), Guayaquil (Ecuador), Santo Domingo (the Dominican Republic, San José (Costa Rica) and Mexico City.
