Seven  consecutive weeks  downturn in Panama covid-19 infections

The end of the week from October 19 to 25, marked the  seventh  consecutive eek registering a downward trend in the confirmation of the number of Covid -19 infections

Arturo, Rebollón, infectologist, epidemiologist and researcher at the University of South Florida said that last week with 69 deaths and 4,455 infections, was almost a mirror of the week before, when there were a similar number of deaths (73) Meanwhile, infections were 23 more than last week where 4,432 were detected. However, Rebollón said, there was an important variable reflected in the decrease in hospitalizations, which is key to the system.
