With an increase of 1,099 new cases in 24 hours the total of detected COVID-19 cases in Panama swelled to 32,785 on Sunday, June 28 and the death total rose to 620.

He adds that the patients recovered are 15,595 and There were  3,225 tests for the coronavirus bringing the total to 128,795.There are 15,679  in isolation and (718 in hospital hotels).

Hospitalized patients total  891 (744 are in wards  and 147 in intensive care)

As the virus threatens hospital capacity, an   Interhospital Control Center was installed on Monday, June 29  at the Ministry of Health headquarters, to coordinate between Minsa and the Social Security Fund (CSS).

The  center aims to "make a permanent analysis of the installed capacity of the different medical centers in the country to provide more efficient care and facilitate their management and lead to the proper administration of each of the hospitals."

There are tens of thousands less gringos here and more leave daily. Even the Jews leave as has been pointed out. very bad when the Jews leave. OH YA the gringos were not the ones leaving trash and broken glass on the beach you love so much. The gringos weren't the ones breaking into your house while you were at the beach you love so much. The gringos were never the problem. Maybe you are inferior to regular gringos and that is why you want us gone?

Oh ya

Double edge sword .when i moved here there were far less gringos .the beaches were not packed by hostals .surf schools and food vendors and the towns were not full of gringo restaurants. Maybe with a bunch leaving here because they had no clue what a 3rd world country was and not many coming because of the economy hellhole the US goverment central banks have caused it will be more like the good old days that i remember . Time will tell .off surf fishing have a great day

Greetings from the great state of Ohio where we are free to move about. Ok here's an important update!!! I was on Copa's site for the past hour trying to book flights for tommorrow for friends in Panama with no internet today. This is on Copa's site... "Our operations has been suspended until August 7th, 2020. Know more in our COVID-19 Information Hub". So the airport is closed now at least until August 7th though the govt of Panama hasn't proclaimed that yet. I was able to get 3 seats booked for tomorrows flight and it looked like there were still 4 seats left if anyone needs that flight act fast because it's gonna be full. SO NO AIRPORT OPENING UNTIL AT LEAST AUG 7TH ACCORDING TO COPA.

32,000 cases in a country of 4 million is nothing. 700 cases overwhelms the healthcare system then maybe the healthcare system needs to be reformed. This virus has a long way to go and I imagine now that it's so prevalent and spreading that some of the inland areas will start to see full blown outbreaks. By the time you see 2 or 3 cases it's too late. I think Cathair has the right idea just let the virus run and in 2 months we will be back to normal. Keeping everyone locked up is just prolonging this nightmare for at least another year! Then we have to deal with the social costs of this lockdown which will impoverish a generation of Panamanians.

Ignore the comments from the gay observer twins. They cant help it. They walk around the house in pantyhose all day with nothing else to do but write obscene vulgarities on the forums while they watch captain put on his bra and panties. Then they rub peanut butter over each other and, well........the rest you do not want to know. Be careful talking about monkey shows because they might get the wrong idea.

Remember Cathair and JbB are one and the same person. He let that out the bag when he posted a so called Cathair comment under his own title. I consider both trolls and don’t respond. That’s the way to treat them. They or rather he will get mad if people ignore their trash.

I am thinking that the best thing for the country is for the system to become overwhelmed with cases.
