The World Health Organization says  that clinical trials of the drug , which US  President Trump claims to be taking, will resume, after being suspended for a safety review in the search for coronavirus treatments.

"On the basis of available mortality data, the executive group will communicate to leading researchers that they can resume trials with hydroxychloroquine," WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced in a press conference call on Wednesday, June 3.

Never claimed victory about the drug. You did not read the post carefully like most left wing idiots do....try to twist words. It is the best they have right now and it could be a base study for a cure. I know it is not a cure. there is no cure for the seasonal flu either. We just try to remedy these things best we can with what we have, and we have lots of (already tested) HCQ. My point was that first they are bashing Trump for something his personal doctors recommended and now they are going with it. If you cant keep up with the conversation, better not to speak at all. Quote from Hannibal Lector.

Snake: If HCQ proves effective in treating COVID, I will be all for it. Isn't it a tad premature to claim victory before systematic testing is completed?

Yeah. All those nay-sayers (cicero3 and sara and others) trying to bash Trump for using/promoting this drug will now have to eat their words. For now, it is the only solution we have and while it maybe is not the best solution, it does help. All they want to do is try to make Trump look bad. I have never seen such hate in all my life. Now they will do a 180 and look into it because they have not found anything else that works this good. You people say that you want to believe in science, but the problem is that science is always changing and half the time, they are just plain wrong. I remember when they were trying to say eggs were bad for you in the 80's. Now they say they are good for you.
