From next Friday, January 29 until Monday, February 1, a section of the Pan-American highway from the Bridge of the Americas to Arraiján will be closed.

The closure is related to the "Project Study, Design, Construcion and Maintenance of Works for the Expansion and Rehabilitation of the Pan-America Highway" says a Ministry of Public Works press release

The closing will begin on January 29 at 10:00 pm and will end at 4:00 am on Monday, February 1.

According to the MOP, in this period, concrete pipes of 1.80 meters and 0.90 centimeters will be placed.

In addition, a viaduct for electrical utilities and telecommunications will be placed.

During this period, the entity recommends that road users and residents of Panama Oeste use alternative routes.

The Centenario road and the road to Paraíso, the road to Veracruz and the detour through the Puma station to the Cocolí sector can be used for residents of Panama Pacifico.
