Some current presidential candidates are promising, like Juan Carlos Varela the sitting leader, to solve the country’s recurrent water problems.
On Sunday, April 14 residents in at least four districts of the capital will bear witness to the value of political promises as from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm water will be turned off in. the corregimientos of Calidonia, Santa Ana, San Felipe, and Ancón says will be without drinking water service, informed the National Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers ( Idaan).
The suspension of the service is due to the changing of a valve in a 12- inch line of the Idaan.
The sectors of Ancón, San Felipe, Santa Ana, Huerta Sandoval, Central Avenue, 3 de Noviembre, Calidonia, San Miguel and Altos de Curundú will be affected.
Balboa, Santo Tomás Hospital, Hospital del Nino, La Boca, Santa Cruz, The National Oncology Institute and Quarry Heights will also be without drinking water.
