A project that seeks to attract foreign tourists Panama to get the   Covid-19 vaccination while enjoying a vacation got the nod from cabinet  on Wednesday.

 Through Vacutur, the National Government seeks to attract foreign tourists to Panama who have not yet been vaccinated against so that they can get the AstraZeneca vaccine here, while enjoying the destination."Through the Vacutur project, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) is authorized to use and apply AstraZeneca vaccines acquired to combat covid-19, in people who arrive in the national territory as tourists," said a  press release.

It says that the Vacutur project aims to reactivate the economy by hosting tourists for a minimum of two nights in hotels registered by the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), which has more than 60 companies registered for the activity. In the coming days, the health authorities and the ATP will expand details of Vacutur Panama.
