Call for seasonal restraint as virus cases zoom

The indicators of Covid-19 have soared alarmingly, despite strong calls to the population to be judicious, sensible, and careful in the prophylaxis measures that must be kept to avoid the spread of this disease. Faced with this scenario, the Government is studying new movement limitations, especially in these end-of-year festivities, which – judging by what is seen – many hope to celebrate as if there were no pandemic in the environment. Of particular concern is the carefree attitude of many young people who believe they are immune to the virus, forgetting that in their homes and in their neighbors there are relatives, friends, and acquaintances who are vulnerable and who could be infected by an indolent attitude. The number of cases of Covid-19 clearly demonstrates that the danger is present and that it is increasing, something that the Health authorities are ready to avoid, for which they can – again – limit the movement of the population. To avoid this, you just have to take care of yourself with the measures that we all already know. If each one protects himself as he should be, we are also protecting our neighbor. This is called solidarity – LA PRENSA, Dec. 3
