Leading the Research at the CSS are These First 20 Doctors
The CSS has officially integrated its first National Group of Researchers (GNI-CSS), made up of 20 professionals selected after an open national call that brought together 34 applicants.
The Social Security Fund (CSS) takes a historic step in medical research by forming its first National Group of Researchers (GNI-CSS), an initiative that seeks to strengthen scientific production and transform health care in Panama. “The National Research Group reflects decades of work and scientific vocation. This recognition motivates us to continue contributing to the development of the institution and, above all, to the well-being of patients,” said Paulino Vigil De Gracia, National Director of Teaching and Research at the CSS and senior researcher, a pioneer in obstetric critical care medicine and the only member of the CSS to reach the highest category of the National System of Researchers of the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (Senacyt).
