The Youth Awards in Panama: President Mulino Celebrates the Success

National and international artists attended the event in Panama, normally held in the US.

The President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, expressed his enthusiasm and pride following the holding of the 2025 Youth Awards in Panama, calling the event a “great” moment for the country and a showcase of the nation’s talent and organizational capacity. Through his social media accounts, the president congratulated the organizers, national and international artists, presenters, and the Panamanian workforce that made the event possible.

He also highlighted the collaborative work of Promtur Panama, the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), and Univisión, which is responsible for broadcasting the event internationally.  “I thoroughly enjoyed watching the great Premios Juventud show last night. There are no words to describe such a magnificent moment. The country had a great opportunity to celebrate talent.

A great source of pride. We Panamanians know how to do great things!” Mulino wrote.  The Figali Convention Center hosted the awards ceremony, marking the first time this international event has been held outside the United States.  The night was filled with music, awards, and performances by renowned artists, and also provided a space for Panamanian talents who shone before a global audience.

The president emphasized that holding this type of event positions Panama as a regional benchmark for cultural and entertainment tourism, and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continuing to promote opportunities for Panamanian youth to achieve local and international exposure.
