In Panama a Veraguan Woman Wins Twice in the First Fiscal Lottery

A lucky Veraguan woman won the top prize yesterday in the first draw of the DGI’s Fiscal Lottery… and twice! This is Oris Puga Lima, ID 9, who was one of the winners of the five $10,000 prizes. But the raffle drew the envelopes she deposited twice, so she takes home $20,000. Oris was contacted: “Very excited, very happy, very content, and very grateful to God first,” she expressed. She said the first thing she will do is take care of her mother’s health. The next drawing will be on October 30th. Tax receipts, as of today, Friday, are already eligible for entry into the next raffle. Individuals must submit five tax receipts in properly marked envelopes and drop them off at DGI offices and designated shopping centers. Each drawing will yield five $10,000 winners, ten $5,000 winners, and ten $1,000 winners.
