Over the Weekend 460 People Arrested and 107 Drug Packages Seized

In the 72 weekend hours, as part of the Firmness Plan, the National Police had a busy time arresting 460 people. Of these, 291 were arrested on official business, 99 for administrative offenses, 49 in flagrante delicto, and 21 for micro-trafficking. Eighty-five search warrants were carried out, and 11 firearms with 64 rounds of ammunition, $150,000 cash, 107 packages of drugs, 195 cocaine cans, 41 packets of cocaine, and 31 bags of marijuana were seized.

In addition, 10 stolen cars were recovered. In traffic matters, 2,757 violations were issued, including 449 for speeding, 140 for inadequate lights, 65 for expired licenses, 17 for talking on a cell phone, and 67 for proven drunkenness.
