More than 300 People have been Arrested after the Operation “Safe Dawn” in the Bon Bosco Police Zone

The National Police has continued its “Safe Dawn” operation, which, from July 10 to 18, has resulted in the arrest of 315 people linked to various crimes, and the seizure of 15 firearms and 510 rounds of ammunition in the Don Bosco Police Zone. Among the arrests, 154 were for crimes such as homicide, sexual violence, robbery, possession of illicit substances, and illegal possession of firearms. Another 110 were for pending investigations, 17 for administrative offenses, and 34 for flagrante delicto.

This operation, which seeks to mitigate criminal activity in this sector, has been carried out through 141 raids in which eight suppliers, B/.30, 137,000 in cash, and 12 vehicles with reports of theft and robbery have been seized. The area will be reinforced with uniformed officers who will strengthen patrols on foot and in vehicles, especially in areas with a high crime rate. Operation Safe Dawn is part of a series of operations within the National Police’s strategies focused on ensuring security and public order.
