No more dark windows in taxis

Dark windows in Panama’s taxis and other public vehicles will soon be a thing of the past.

Panama’s Cabinet has approved on Tuesday, November 23, a bill eliminating smoked  paper on public transport.

The proposal presented by Minister of Government, Roxana Mendezis intended to help lower crime rates

The bill also authorizes the Transit Authority to eliminate the need of police in cases of minor traffic accidents.
