Wanted: drivers for Metro buses

The flagship project of the Martinelli administration, Metro Buses is backed up by lack of drivers.

After 18 months of planning and numerous announcements of the introduction of buses on multiple routes, Minister of the Presidency, Jimmy Papadimitriu told TVN News on Thursday, January 20: “There aren't enough drivers,” but they are actively recruiting more and expect to have a sufficient number of to cover all the Metro Bus routes on the Corredor Sur by February 15.
The system will be operational on the Corredor Norte at the end of February or early March, said Papadimitriu.
