Colon communities without water for 36 hours

Damage to a water distribution pipe on Monday, September 18 left communities in Christopher township on the outskirts of Colon city without drinking for over 36 hours.

 Carlos Hamilton, regional head of the Institute of the National Water and Sewerage authotityn said the problem was a collapse in a 30-inch pipe, at while the Trans Caribbean company wass performing installation work on the new line. The damage occurred at 10 am on Monday and repairs were still under way late Tuesday evening
