CD presidential candidate skips agricultural forum
JOSE Domingo Arias was a no-show at a Saturday October 28 forum for presidential candidates organized by the Panamanian Association of Business Executives (APEDA).
They had been invited to discuss their plans for the agricultural sector.
Those who made the time to air their views were Panameñista candidate Juan Carlos Varela, Juan Carlos Navarro, candidate of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), and independent candidates Gerardo Solis and Juan Jované.
Arias, the CD candidate, excused his absence from the forum by saying that he had made a commitment to go to Portobelo, where hecelebrated his 50th birthday.
