Metro test run creates speculation about Moscoso-Martinelli link

PRESIDENT Ricardo Martinelli was the featured passenger on board another test run of line one of the Metro subway on Thursday November 13.

The photo-op trip for journalists ran from from Albrook to Los Andes.

The president’s companions on the trip seem to have created more interest than the train ride. Next to the president were former President Mireya Moscoso and CD presidential candidate José Domingo Arias.
Local television stations showed images of Martinelli with Moscoso and Secretary of the Metro Roberto Roy. Moscoso continues to claim that she is a Panameñista loyalist, but is seen frequently with Martinelli and Arias.the ruling party presidential candidate . She is not seen at events for her own party’s candidate, Juan Carlos Varela .
After a few minutes at the Los Andes station, the train went to the Plaza Cinco de Mayo station where the officials disembarked and journalists went on their way, speculating about the Martinelli-Moscoso link
Martinelli has not yet clarified what the cost of riding the Metro will be, only that it will be free for the first two or three months during a trial period.
