Panama national soccer team player dies
PANAMA NATIONAL soccer team player Luis Rentería, died Thursday morning, March 6, at Santo Tomas Hospital says the Panama Soccer Association.
The 25-year-old talented striker, known as Matagatos, suffered from Lupus.
"The Association mourns the passing of former national team member Luis Renteria and sends condolences to his family. Rest in peace Matagatos," the association published on its Twitter account.
Rentería was a member of Tauro FC in the Panamanian Soccer League and he played for the national team during World Cup qualifiers for Brazil 2014.
