Ex-finance minister faces anti-corruption prosecutor

THE FORMER Minister of Economy and Finance, Frank de Lima, is the latest of the Ricardo Martinelli administration to face questioning by anti-corruption prosecutors 

He is part of the ongoing investigation into  the alleged crime of embezzlement in the purchase of grains with funds from the National Assistance Program (PAN)..
 He arrived at the office of the First Anticorruption Prosecutor Tania Sterling on Via Espana on Monday morning, May 11, but was shielded from contact with journalists stationed at the main entrance of Lima Avesa.
