Canal museum reopens with Easter discounts
The Interoceanic Canal Museum in Casco Viejo reopened its doors on Friday, March 26 with eight new exhibition rooms that seek to transmit, from a minimalist sense, the history of the Canal workers who came from 97 countries.
The exhibition exhibits unpublished photos and articles such as the fragment of a poem written by a person of Antillean descent. The experience will also allow visitors to access exclusive content from their smartphones.
The museum authorities reported that all biosafety measures will be guaranteed, for which a new air conditioning system with ultraviolet rays and indoor air monitors were acquired
Also, tablets and other tactile devices were removed. which will now be through sensors.
Other measures will be the mandatory use of masks, constant cleaning, limited capacity, signs to mark physical distancing, availability of alcoholic gel, and taking body temperature.
The museum can be visited from Thursday through Sunday at the following times: Thursday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
The box office will be open 30 minutes before closing and tickets can be reserved through www.museodelcanal.com .
There will be a 20% discount during Easter, from April 1 to 4.
