Third woman held in child-shelters case
The Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office obtained the provisional detention of a woman apprehended on Saturday in a Panama hotel in the case of the child shelters. in The judge admitted the legalization, arrest, and imputed embezzlement charges in an investigation related to the shelters, according to the Public Ministry.
Earlier it was reported and that she allegedly served as the director of a shelter. The Public Ministry is advancing in the investigations of
mistreatment and sexual abuse of minors. On Friday, two other women were ordered provisional arrest in the same case.
