Intelligence and Counterintelligence Operations: A School is Created in Panama
The Panamanian government established an Intelligence and Counterintelligence School to train members of its public security forces, which includes the National Aeronaval Service (SENAN). The institution is designed to equip officers with advanced skills in information gathering, processing, and analysis to counter modern threats like cybercrime, hybrid terrorism, and disinformation.

The school’s curriculum and operations are focused on enhancing the capabilities of Panama’s specialized units to protect national security. By partnering with international experts and regional alliances, Panama continues to modernize its intelligence apparatus.

The Ministry of Public Security (Minseg) created the Intelligence and Counterintelligence School of the National Aeronaval Service (Senan), “an educational center, to train and provide specialization in intelligence and counterintelligence to the members of the Intelligence and Counterintelligence Directorates.” According to the document, the new school will function as an educational center of a technical and operational nature, attached to the National Teaching Directorate of Senan.
