Investigation for Embezzlement and Workplace Harassment: Ancón Community Council Raided
The community board is headed by representative Yamireth Batista, from the Another Way Movement (Moca).
Yamireth Batista, representative of Ancón, from the Otro Camino Movement (Moca), is under scrutiny by the Public Ministry following several complaints related to alleged embezzlement, misuse of public funds and workplace harassment within the community board. Judicial authorities arrived Friday morning at the Ancón community council. According to complaints filed by former officials, community board funds were allegedly used for apartment renovations, travel payments, parties, rentals, and personal purchases.
