No projects – Extraordinary Assembly adjourns
On Wednesday, May 28, the extraordinary session was adjourned until Monday, June 2, due to a lack of projects on the agenda.
Wigberto Quintero, secretary general of the Assembly, said today that the Executive has already referred the 22 projects to the National Assembly that will be discussed during the extraordinary session that will last until June 30.
Quintero said that the projects must be discussed by their respective committees on first debate before being forwarded to the plenary.
The committees are set to complete their meetings on Thursday, if they can assemble quorums.
Among the projects to be discussed Monday is the proposal to create a protected area in Juan Hombrón.
